For a better overview of the urban planning and history of the Eastern Docklands, City Walks Office provides a walk combined with a lecture. The lecture takes place in the old warehouse Loods 6 (1918). The speakers just have written a book about the docklands, based on many interviews with the architects and urban planners involved.  
The program could be completed with a lunch in de same building with great atmosphere, the former passenger hall of the Royal Dutch Steamship Company (KNSM). Chic interior. Marvellous view of the river IJ.
