On the KNSM island in the former (50ties) passenger terminal of the KNSM is now situated Grand Cafe the Kompaszaal. For a nice lunch, relaxed drink, or first class dinner. Superb view from the first floor over the IJ, wireless internet, high tea on saturdays and sundays and once a month movie dinner on wednesday. Very well suitable for larger groups, meetings, drinks and parties. The Kompaszaal kan be hired completely including catering on demand.

On the groundfloor the information centre A.H.O.I. is situated. You will find here lots of information about the Docklands architecture and history. A visit to the Kompaszaal is surely woth the effort and you'll remember it for a long time.
